Growing up in California with a family in the Film Production world, I started down the same path of wanting to work on movies. After graduating from California State University Northridge with a film degree and a few years of working on some pretty cool stuff, I realized it wasn’t as fulfilling as I thought it would be. So I left the film world to work on smaller commercial productions in hopes of having a bit more creative freedom. After a few years of that ultimately leading to a similar cycle, a friend of mine asked me to film their wedding… and I was instantly hooked.
The feeling that I got as I watched them relive their wedding film for the first time was one that I’ll never forget. I provided them with something that would be cherished for the rest of their lives, and shown to their children and grandchildren down the road.
Now with several years of filming weddings under my belt, I still get that same excitement as I’m driving to the venue on the big day, knowing that I’ll be capturing some very important family memories.
